Zara is a Heritage Consultant with a strong academic background in art history and historic building conservation.

She holds a BA in History of Art from the University of York. It was here, through a specialist module on English Country Houses, that she first developed her interest in the historic environment.

During her studies, Zara gained hands-on experience at Castle Howard, one of the country’s most significant baroque houses. This role deepened her understanding of estate landscapes, architectural evolution, and the conservation challenges facing large historic properties.
